Upper estimate price exceeded by 40 %.
The work Sans titre by Louis Cane was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. It achieved a price of EUR 2,099.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Cane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toile Sol/Mur - 1973 in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 84,010.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Louis Cane kam im April diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.099,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Cane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toile Sol/Mur - 1973 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.010,00.
