It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,645.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Legrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Danseuses Saluant, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 22,500.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.645,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Legrand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Danseuses Saluant beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert wurde.
