Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work La fillé à sa tanté. by Louis Legrand was auctioned at Koller in March 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of CHF 500.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for CHF 456.00 (€ 290.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Legrand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danseuses Saluant in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit La fillé à sa tanté. von Louis Legrand im März 2008 bei Koller versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für CHF 456,00 (€ 290,80) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Legrand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danseuses Saluant im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
