Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work The Rose Garden by Loretta Lux. The price achieved of USD 5,715.00 (€ 5,176.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Loretta Lux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marianne in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 45,600.00 (€ 38,676.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Rose Garden von Loretta Lux zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.715,00 (€ 5.176,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Loretta Lux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marianne im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 38.676,84).
