Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Adoration of the Christ Child by Lorenzo Lotto for USD 112,500.00 (€ 96,591.40). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Lorenzo Lotto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of An Architect in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 416,750.00 (€ 487,248.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Adoration of the Christ Child von Lorenzo Lotto für USD 112.500,00 (€ 96.591,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lorenzo Lotto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of An Architect im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 416.750,00 (€ 487.248,37).
