A top price for Lorenzo Lotto
In December 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Portrait Of An Architect by Lorenzo Lotto. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 416,750.00 (€ 487,248.37), 39% above the upper estimate. With this result, Portrait Of An Architect is even the most expensive work of art by Lorenzo Lotto that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of An Architect von Lorenzo Lotto zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 416.750,00 (€ 487.248,37) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Portrait Of An Architect sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lorenzo Lotto, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
