Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1800 by Lorenz Lars Svensson Sparrgren was sold in the Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures auction at Sothebys in London in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,449.37). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lorenz Lars Svensson Sparrgren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), 1786, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 4,410.00 (€ 4,926.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1800 von Lorenz Lars Svensson Sparrgren wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.449,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lorenz Lars Svensson Sparrgren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), 1786 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 4.410,00 (€ 4.926,36) versteigert wurde.
