Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Landscape with figures and animals by the river. by Lorenz Lars Svensson Sparrgren was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 4,000.00 (€ 445.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenz Lars Svensson Sparrgren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), 1786 in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 4,926.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Landscape with figures and animals by the river. von Lorenz Lars Svensson Sparrgren im Dezember 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 4.000,00 (€ 445,85) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenz Lars Svensson Sparrgren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), 1786 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.410,00 (€ 4.926,36).
