Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Lon Pennock was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,320.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lon Pennock - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Epode, which sold at auction in April 2013 for EUR 3,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Lon Pennock kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.320,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lon Pennock mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Epode beobachtet, die im April 2013 für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert wurde.
