Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract Sculpture by Lon Pennock was sold in the The Sculpture Sale auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2006. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,440.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lon Pennock - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Epode, which sold at auction in April 2013 for EUR 3,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract Sculpture von Lon Pennock wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion The Sculpture Sale bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.440,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lon Pennock mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Epode beobachtet, die im April 2013 für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert wurde.
