Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,824.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Lois Mailou Jones have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2012 the work Le Consulat was auctioned for USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,173.41).
