Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Flight Into Egypt by Lodewijk Toeput was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2016. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,852.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lodewijk Toeput - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Veduta Del Parco Di Una Villa Con Figure Vicino A Una Fontana, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 45,600.00.

Die Arbeit The Flight Into Egypt von Lodewijk Toeput wurde im Juli 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.852,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lodewijk Toeput mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Veduta Del Parco Di Una Villa Con Figure Vicino A Una Fontana beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 45.600,00 versteigert wurde.
