Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lo Ch'ing could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art auction, the work Ten Thousand Peaks Of Red Leaves changed hands for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,449.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Lo Ch'ing have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May this year by the work The Sun also Rises, 2016 at GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,609.50).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lo Ch'ing konnte im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art wechselte die Arbeit Ten Thousand Peaks Of Red Leaves für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.449,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Lo Ch'ing wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres die Arbeit The Sun also Rises, 2016 mit GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.609,50).
