Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Xingshu by Liu Yazi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,509.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Yazi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seven - Character Poem In Running Script, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 413,000.00 (€ 43,578.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu von Liu Yazi wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.509,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Yazi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seven - Character Poem In Running Script beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 413.000,00 (€ 43.578,10) versteigert wurde.
