Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Liu Yazi. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,277.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Yazi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seven - Character Poem In Running Script in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 43,578.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Liu Yazi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.277,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Yazi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seven - Character Poem In Running Script im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 43.578,10).
