Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Water Village in Spring by Liu Maoshan. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 26,836.39). Other works by Liu Maoshan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 33,763.85) in May 2010 for the work Spring Scenery of a River Village.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Water Village in Spring von Liu Maoshan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 26.836,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Liu Maoshan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 33.763,85) im Mai 2010 für die Arbeit Spring Scenery of a River Village beobachtet.
