A top price for Liu Maoshan
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Spring Scenery of a River Village by Liu Maoshan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 325,000.00 (€ 33,763.85), 63% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Spring Scenery of a River Village the most expensive artwork by Liu Maoshan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring Scenery of a River Village von Liu Maoshan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 33.763,85) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
