Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spring Scenery of a Rover Village by Liu Maoshan was sold in the Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. The price achieved of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 12,800.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Maoshan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Scenery of a River Village, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 33,763.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spring Scenery of a Rover Village von Liu Maoshan wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 12.800,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Maoshan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Scenery of a River Village beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 33.763,85) versteigert wurde.
