Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Huangshan by Liu Kang was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 213,125.00 (€ 25,096.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Kang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Adjusting The Waistband in May last year with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 373,972.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Huangshan von Liu Kang kam im April 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 213.125,00 (€ 25.096,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Kang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Adjusting The Waistband im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 373.972,60).
