Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Running Horse by Liu Boshu was sold in the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,494.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Boshu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Galloping Horse in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 57,500.00 (€ 6,645.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Running Horse von Liu Boshu wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.494,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Boshu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Galloping Horse im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.500,00 (€ 6.645,31).
