Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Monkeys On The Pines by Liu Bin. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,222.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Liu Bin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2016 the work Horse was auctioned for HKD 64,900.00 (€ 7,501.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monkeys On The Pines von Liu Bin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.222,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Liu Bin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2016 die Arbeit Horse für HKD 64.900,00 (€ 7.501,24) versteigert.
