Auction result misses estimated price range

When the work Charles Baudelaire ; Itinerary Based on the Footnotes from Baudelaire's Review of the Salon of 1846, p. 54 ; Photograph of Charles Baudelaire (Three works) by Lisa Tan was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in April last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 252.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lisa Tan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First Love in July 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,440.70).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Als die Arbeit Charles Baudelaire ; Itinerary Based on the Footnotes from Baudelaire's Review of the Salon of 1846, p. 54 ; Photograph of Charles Baudelaire (Three works) von Lisa Tan im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
