In March 2009 Phillips in London held the auction Saturday@Phillips, which included the work Julie on Stage with Feathers, East Village, NYC by Lisa Kereszi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 625.00 (€ 673.97), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lisa Kereszi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Water Fountain, Public School 26, Building 711, Governor's Island, NY sold at auction in March 2009 with the realized price of GBP 750.00 (€ 808.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im März 2009 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Saturday@Phillips durch, in der auch die Arbeit Julie on Stage with Feathers, East Village, NYC von Lisa Kereszi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 673,97) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lisa Kereszi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Water Fountain, Public School 26, Building 711, Governor's Island, NY im März 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 750,00 (€ 808,76).
