Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Li Qiao’S Poem In Regular Script by Lin Zexu. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,429.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lin Zexu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,252,500.00 (€ 136,053.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Li Qiao’S Poem In Regular Script von Lin Zexu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.429,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lin Zexu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.252.500,00 (€ 136.053,98).
