The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,432.00 62% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lily Yeats have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Embroideries in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,926.99).

Die Arbeit Fisa Playing His Harp, after a design by Boris Anrep 96 x 74 cm. (38 x 28 in.) von Lily Yeats wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Irish SaleVision & Voice bei Bonhams in Dublin versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.432,00 und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lily Yeats auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Embroideries im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.926,99).
