The work A Mediterranean Coast At Dawn With A Galliot Preparing To Unload Its Cargo, A Frigate Being Caulked Beyond by Lieve Pietersz. Verschuier was sold in the Old Masters: Part II auction at Christies in New York in April 2016. The »bidding war« ended at USD 35,000.00 (€ 30,591.73), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lieve Pietersz. Verschuier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sailors unloading cargo from a sailing vessel, moored on a Mediterranean shore, with a rowing boat and a three-master beyond, at dawn in May 2000 with an auction result of NLG 304,252.00 (€ 132,849.31).

Verschuier wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters: Part II bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 30.591,73) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lieve Pietersz. Verschuier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sailors unloading cargo from a sailing vessel, moored on a Mediterranean shore, with a rowing boat and a three-master beyond, at dawn im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 304.252,00 (€ 132.849,31).
