The work Visiting Friends At A Lofty Pavilion by Liang Yuwei was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,623.38) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Yuwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couplet in Clerical Script in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,794.45).

Die Arbeit Visiting Friends At A Lofty Pavilion von Liang Yuwei kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.623,38) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Yuwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couplet in Clerical Script im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.794,45).
