This artwork by Liang Yifen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Unknown sold for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,457.48) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Yifen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seven Beauties in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,065.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liang Yifen erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Unknown für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.457,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Yifen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seven Beauties im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.065,99).
