A top price for Liang Yifen - as previously expected
The work Seven Beauties by Liang Yifen was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,065.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Seven Beauties is the most expensive artwork by Liang Yifen that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Seven Beauties von Liang Yifen wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.065,99) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Seven Beauties das teuerste Kunstwerk von Liang Yifen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
