Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fresh Cut Flowers by Liang Yifen was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,948.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Yifen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seven Beauties in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,065.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fresh Cut Flowers von Liang Yifen wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.948,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Yifen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seven Beauties im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.065,99).
