Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Calligraphy by Liang Tongshu. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,745.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Tongshu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Scrolls in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 690,000.00 (€ 67,543.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Liang Tongshu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.745,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Tongshu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Scrolls im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 690.000,00 (€ 67.543,29).
