Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Spring No. 3 by Liang Quan was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,524.00), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Quan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2015 with an auction result of CNY 587,500.00 (€ 84,845.91).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Spring No. 3 von Liang Quan wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.524,00) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Quan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 587.500,00 (€ 84.845,91).
