Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy by Liang Qichao. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,167.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Qichao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 4,160,000.00 (€ 480,774.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Liang Qichao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.167,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Qichao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.160.000,00 (€ 480.774,05).
