Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Running Script by Liang Qichao was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in March last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 48,450.00 (€ 5,577.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Qichao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 4,160,000.00 (€ 480,774.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Running Script von Liang Qichao kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 48.450,00 (€ 5.577,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Qichao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.160.000,00 (€ 480.774,05).
