Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Liang Hancao was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 20,700.00 (€ 1,925.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liang Hancao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in May 2013 for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,206.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Liang Hancao kam im April 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 20.700,00 (€ 1.925,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Für andere Arbeiten von Liang Hancao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.206,34) versteigert wurde.
