Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work Riverside by Liang Dingfen was worth HKD 61,360.00 (€ 6,909.23) to a buyer in October 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Liang Dingfen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Correspondence in May last year with an auction result of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 32,909.59).

Die Arbeit Riverside von Liang Dingfen war einem Käufer im Oktober 2018 HKD 61.360,00 (€ 6.909,23) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Dingfen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Correspondence im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 32.909,59).
