signed Dingfen, dated yiwei (1895), the fourth lunar month, with a dedication and seven seals of the artist, gang yang, xuan ren, ding fen yin xin, lai zhen fang qiu, du shu xiang qian bei, liang ding fen yin, bing qi gua suo xie
With four collector's seals of Liu Muzeng (1904-1957), mu zeng zhen cang (4), one collector's seal of Qiu Guohua (1956-2014), qiu guo hua ju san shi liu nian jing li suo de, and four other collector's seals, tang lou jie lu hou ren bo fang fu jian cang yin (4)

In March 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Poems In Running Script by Liang Dingfen. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,965.18), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liang Dingfen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Correspondence, which sold at auction in May last year for HKD 277,200.00 (€ 32,909.59).

Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poems In Running Script von Liang Dingfen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.965,18) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Liang Dingfen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Correspondence beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für HKD 277.200,00 (€ 32.909,59) versteigert wurde.
