Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Liang Dingfen was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,945.48). Admittedly, works by Liang Dingfen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Correspondence in May last year with an auction result of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 32,909.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Liang Dingfen wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.945,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Dingfen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Correspondence im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 32.909,59).
