Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script by Liang Dingfen was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,819.86). Admittedly, works by Liang Dingfen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Correspondence in May last year with an auction result of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 32,909.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script von Liang Dingfen wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.819,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Dingfen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Correspondence im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 32.909,59).
