The work Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script by Liang Dingfen was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,469.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Liang Dingfen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Correspondence in May last year with an auction result of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 32,909.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script von Liang Dingfen kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.469,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Dingfen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Correspondence im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 32.909,59).
