This artwork by Liang Dingfen achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Bamboos sold for HKD 224,200.00 (€ 24,675.86) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Liang Dingfen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Correspondence sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 32,909.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 87 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liang Dingfen erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Bamboos für HKD 224.200,00 (€ 24.675,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Liang Dingfen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Correspondence im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 32.909,59).
