A top price for Li Xubai
The work Spring After Snow by Li Xubai was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 56,332.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. With this result, Spring After Snow is even the most expensive work of art by Li Xubai that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Spring After Snow von Li Xubai kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 56.332,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Spring After Snow sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Li Xubai, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
