The work Dense Forest by Li Xiaoke was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 12,698.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Xiaoke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homeland in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,360,000.00 (€ 275,710.92).

Die Arbeit Dense Forest von Li Xiaoke kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 12.698,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Xiaoke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homeland im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.360.000,00 (€ 275.710,92).
