Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Tianyuan Space Station -Li Tianyuan Portrait (Triptych) by Li Tianyuan for USD 5,400.00 (€ 4,037.69). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Tianyuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Receiving A Letter in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,000.00 (€ 122,736.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tianyuan Space Station -Li Tianyuan Portrait (Triptych) von Li Tianyuan für USD 5.400,00 (€ 4.037,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Tianyuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Receiving A Letter im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.000,00 (€ 122.736,07).
