Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Black And White by Li Tianyuan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2008. The price achieved of USD 44,200.00 (€ 27,965.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Tianyuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Receiving A Letter in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,000.00 (€ 122,736.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Black And White von Li Tianyuan kam im März 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 44.200,00 (€ 27.965,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Tianyuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Receiving A Letter im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.000,00 (€ 122.736,07).
