A top price for Li Qiang
This artwork by Li Qiang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Return To Land No. 30 sold for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 48,944.41) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. This high result makes Return To Land No. 30 the most expensive artwork by Li Qiang that we have observed at auctions so far.
