Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Amber by Li Hui was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 151,677.58), 22% above the upper estimate. Other works by Li Hui have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 2,407,500.00 (€ 198,201.00) in May 2008 for the work Ark No. 2.

Die Arbeit Amber von Li Hui wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 151.677,58) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Li Hui haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.407.500,00 (€ 198.201,00) im Mai 2008 für die Arbeit Ark No. 2 beobachtet.
