The work Various Subjects by Li Gu was worth HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,646.07) to a buyer in November 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Gu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape After Tang Yin, which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 567,000.00 (€ 62,799.86).

Die Arbeit Various Subjects von Li Gu war einem Käufer im November 2019 HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.646,07) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Gu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape After Tang Yin beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 567.000,00 (€ 62.799,86) versteigert wurde.
