A top price for Li Gu
The work Landscape After Tang Yin by Li Gu was worth HKD 567,000.00 (€ 62,799.86) to a buyer in October 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Landscape After Tang Yin the most expensive artwork by Li Gu that we have observed at auctions so far.
