Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Penguin Family by Li Fuyuan was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 50,000 (€ 4,894) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 40,000 - 60,000. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Fuyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in April 2011 for HKD 225,000 (€ 19,553).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Penguin Family von Li Fuyuan wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000 (€ 4.894) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000 – 60.000 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Fuyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im April 2011 für HKD 225.000 (€ 19.553) versteigert wurde.
